After what it said were “successful trials in Scandinavia”, Lufthansa-0wned SWISS is expanding its ‘Green Fares’ programme “throughout Europe”. The programme entails the inclusion in the ticket price of the “offsetting of the carbon dioxide emissions generated by the customer’s air travel”.
