Starlux Airlines has taken delivery of three Airbus A321neo aircraft, with the Taiwanese carrier set to use these on services to Vietnam, Macau and Malaysia. The airline’s first A321neo departed the Airbus’ Hamburg Finkenwerder plant, then ferried to Taipei. The new upstart has said it also has Airbus A350s on order with the intention to begin services out of Taipei in 2020. A week-long series of familiarisation flights will take place in Taiwan, the airline has said.
