A Southwest Airlines flight was delayed by five hours when it was forced to return to the gate at Los Angeles International Airport after an incident with a passenger. Media reports suggest that a man had “strangled a woman because she tilted her seat back.” The incident occurred just 13 minutes after takeoff. Law enforcement met the plane at the gate and took one person from the flight. The other passengers and crew switched planes and took off for SFO about two hours later, landing at 1:43 a.m.
