Ryanair has announced it plans to expand its aircraft maintenance facility at Dublin Airport with a €40 million investment. The aim is to facilitate “heavy and line maintenance” of Ryanair’s fleet, which the airline is aiming to grow to 600. The carrier said it is awaiting delivery of “more efficient new technology 737-8200 ‘gamechanger’ aircraft” which will carry 4% more passengers while burning 16% less fuel and emitting 40% less noise.
