Ryanair April traffic up 13%

Ryanair has reported a 13% increase in passenger traffic during April 2023. The low-cost airline carried 16 million passengers during the month, with a load factor of 94% – a three percentage point lift over the prior-year period. For the 12 months to the end of April 2023, Ryanair carried 170.3 million guests – 55% more than in the prior-year period. Load factor for the 12 month period was up 11 percentage points to 94%. Ryanair operated over 89,650 flights in Apr 2023. Regrettably, the airline stated, over 650 flights (approx. 118,000 guests) were cancelled due to French air traffic
