Rebirth of PeoplExpress

  PeoplExpress Airline is to be revived under a new ownership to offer flights on the East Coast this summer. The airline still needs approval from the U.S. government and to secure financing.   The old PeoplExpress was once the country’s fifth largest airline. It flew from 1981 to 1987 and was known for its low fares. However the airline couldn’t compete with the larger airlines and was bought by Continental Airlines.
