Portugal’s flag carrier to tap transatlantic markets with more flights

TAP Air Portugal is to add 17 flights a week to destinations across the Americas during Summer 2023, the flag carrier announced on December 21. The additions would restore the airline to pre-pandemic levels in terms of flights available, it said, with extra flights Lisbon to Boston, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco and Washington, DC. Six summer flights will be added to TAP’s Lisbon-Brazil routes with one added to the two-a-week bound for Caracas, the carrier said.
