Philippines AirAsia has announced the appointment of Joseph Omar Castillo as its new chief executive officer. Castillo, who joined the firm earlier this year, replaces Marianne Hontiveros at the helm – having held the role since 2014. In a previous role, Castillo was the head of the transport and business process outsourcing practices of the Puyat, Jacinto, and Santos Law firm. He has over a decade of experience in the areas of infrastructure, labour relations, contact support, and immigration; and in corporate matters.
