Lufthansa City Airlines confirms first destinations

The Lufthansa Group’s newest subsidiary, Lufthansa City Airlines, has confirmed its first destinations prior to the launch of operations in summer 2024. The airline will initially serve Hamburg, Bremen, Düsseldorf, Cologne and Hanover from its Munich base, as well as Birmingham, Bordeaux and Manchester. Further destinations in Europe will follow as the carrier gradually expands its network. The first of four A319 aircraft to be placed into service this year have already been painted in the new Lufthansa City Livery, while orders for 40 additional A220-300 (with an extra 20 purchase options) have ‘set a clear signal for the future
