Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) has received the first arrival on the resumed Aer Lingus regional service between Liverpool and Dublin. The 11-times-a-week route is operated by Emerald Airlines, using a 72-seater ATR, and gives passengers from the UK the option of handy connections to the US via Ireland’s capital, where the airport features one of the few US immigration pre-clearance desks outside North America.
