LATAM Airlines Group received its new Airbus A321neo recently with the delivery flight using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for the first time in airline’s history. The delivery flight flew from Toulouse (France) to Fortaleza (Brazil) with 30% SAF fuel which was produced from used cooking oil. This new plane is part of LATAM’s fleet renewal process announced this year, allowing the company to have over 100 A320neo family aircraft by the end of this decade.
