Kuwait Airways posted a net loss of $180.26 million in 2022 but is still expecting to break even towards the end of 2024, Ali Aldokhan, Chairman, Kuwait Airways revealed in a news conference. The airline reported a 115% jump in the revenue from 2021 and was 10% higher in terms of revenue as compared to 2019. Going ahead, the airline plans robust expansion by branching into newer routes like Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest and the Saudi Arabian cities of Al-Ula, Taif and Al-Qassim in 2023.
