American Airlines has now suspended a direct route caused by the grounding of its Boeing 737 Max fleet. The airline, which recently extended its grounding period of the 737 Max until Sept 3, will suspend flights between Oakland and Dallas/Fort Worth from July 6 to September 4. In total, approximately 115 flights per day will be cancelled during the grounded period. American has three to four daily flights from Oakland.
