Wu Xiangyang, general manager of start-up airline Jiangxi Airlines, has stated that the airline will make its inaugural flight on June 18. It will have a fleet of five aircraft, which will grow to eight in 2016 and 30 by 2020. Based at Nanchang Changbei International Airport (KHN), the new carrier will fly 737 aircraft to most major cities across the country, initially opening domestic flights between Nanchang and Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu.
