A Merpati Nusantara Airlines Xian MA-60 turboprop made a hard landing on June 10 at the El Tari airport in the East Nusa Tenggara capital of Kupang in eastern Indonesia, which slammed both engines of aircraft into the pavement. There were no fatalities, though several passengers were injured, media reports state.
