ITA Airways and Korean Air have launched a reciprocal codeshare partnership with routes between both countries (operating from Fuimicino and Seoul Incheon airports) in effect from 21 November. ITA Airways will operate nine routes under its ‘AZ’ code, including two domestic Korean and four Japanese destinations. The Korean carrier will be responsible for a further 16 routes (under the ‘KE’ designation) including 11 Italian and five international destinations. Users of Korean Air’s Skypass mileage accrual system will also be eligible to collect miles accrued on ITA flights.
