Icelandair reports August traffic performance

Icelandair transported 547,000 passengers in August and has transported around three million passengers in the first eight months of 2023, 21% more than in the same period last year. In June, July and August, which are historically the largest months in terms of traffic numbers, Icelandair transported 1.6 million passengers. In August, passengers travelling to Iceland were 249,000, from Iceland 51,000, via passengers were 223,000 and domestic passengers were 25,000.
