Hong Kong airlines has added one A330-300 to its widebody fleet and plans to another two A330s this summer to meet the rising passenger demand and to expand its network. The aircraft made its first flight to Bangkok on June 21. “During the recent Dragon Boat Festival our ticket sales were strong, reaching a peak since the pandemic began, with load factors even exceeding pre-pandemic levels by 7%,” said Hou Wei, Chairman, Hong Kong Airlines. “The result is quite encouraging, as our profitability has significantly improved and it also demonstrates our flight resumption efforts this year continue to gain traction.
