Grupo Aeromexico reports 7.1% Y-O-Y increase in passenger traffic in June 2023

Grupo Aeromexico transported 2 million and 88 thousand passengers in June 2023 recording a 7.1% year-on-year (Y-O-Y) increase. International passengers decreased by 3.5%, while domestic passengers increased by 11.8%. The Group recently reported its June 2023 operational results. Aeromexico’s total capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASKs) increased by 5.9% Y-O-Y. while the international ASKs increased by 5.5% and the domestic capacity increased by 6.6% Y-O-Y. Demand, measured in passenger-kilometers (RPKs) increased by 6.8% year-on-year. International demand increased by 7.2% as compared to June 2022. Domestic demand increased by 6.0% versus June 2022.
