In a January 5 statement, Denver-based Frontier Airlines announced a range of new “nonstop” flights from Phoenix. Listing Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Kansas City International Airport,  Nashville International Airport, Minneapolis-Saint Paul and Indianapolis as the new destinations, the low-cost carrier said the routes would start operating the same week. “Frontier is proud of our robust operation in Phoenix and thrilled to add these exciting destinations to our growing roster of flights,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines.
