Air Serbia has announced the cancellation of April 20 flights from Belgrade to Dusseldorf due to security staff going on strike for the day. The flag carrier said it “regrets the changes that have occurred as a result of the industrial action at Dusseldorf airport and is doing everything in its power to provide support to passengers on the mentioned flights”, adding that passengers had been informed of new itineraries. Hundreds of flights were cancelled at airports across Germany in March due to strikes by workers protesting pay and inflation.
