Flair steps in with extra flights and offers as WestJet strike looms

Budget carrier Flair Airlines is laying on extra flights between Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton to cater for people affected  by a strike by WestJet pilots and a lockout announced by WestJet management. Flair said it wanted to “help Canadians impacted” to carry on with their travel plans “with minimal disruption” and promised “contingency plans to service more destinations with flight frequencies” should the WestJet woes “continue for an extended period”. “Flair Airlines stands ready, willing, and able to add additional flights.
