EVA Air, one of the two largest airlines in Taiwan, has finalised an order for 18 A350-1000s and 15 A321neos directly from the manufacturer. The A321neo will bring “new levels of efficiency for the carrier’s regional network,” explained EVA Air, while the A350-100 will replace previous-generation aircraft in the airlines’ long-haul sector. “For long-range operations the A350-1000 sets new standards in its class and will allow us to offer our passengers the best possible in-flight experience,” said Clay Sun, president of EVA Air.
