Lufthansa Group’s Eurowings is marking thirty years since its first flight in early 1993. The low-cost German carrier, which started off flying propeller planes, has an Airbus A320-based fleet of over 100 aircraft and covers around 140 routes. “There are very few airlines in Germany that have succeeded for 30 years in a difficult market environment and have repeatedly mastered dynamic changes.
