Emirates has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Icelandair to expand their existing interline partnership into a reciprocal codeshare agreement. Icelandair president and CEO Bogi Nils Bogason said: “Emirates will become Icelandair’s 7th global airline codeshare partner. We have and will continue to expand our network of partner airlines, focusing on working with airlines that offer great service and connectivity.” The destinations offered through the codeshare agreement will be announced at a later date.
