Emirates Airlines will introduce a new daily service from Dubai (DXB) to Mexico City International Airport (MEX), via Barcelona (BCN), starting 9 December. The new route will be operated by a Boeing 777-200LR and will also offer up to 14 tonnes of cargo.   Emirates Airline president Tim Clark said: “Due to the high altitude of Mexico City airport, it is not possible to operate a nonstop flight from Dubai and Barcelona was a natural choice for a stopover.”
