Vietnam Airlines reports revenues increase in H1 2019 results

Vietnam Airlines Group has reported that it earned nearly VNĐ52 trillion ($2.24 billion) in consolidated revenue in the first half of this year, a 5.5% increase from the same period last year. The group posted that its consolidated pre-tax profit was estimated at VNĐ1.65 trillion, up 30%. Elsewhere, the airline reached VNĐ38.3 trillion in revenue, an increase of 5.8%; and posting VNĐ1.79 trillion in pre-tax profit, increasing by 21.8% from the first half of 2018.
