Emirates will begin operating an A380 service to Egypt’s Cairo International Airport, marking the first time this aircraft will perform such a route. The airline has said the A380 inaugural flight will re-affirm the airport’s infrastructure readiness ahead of regular A380 operations.Earlier this year, Emirates announced it will increase the frequency of flights between Dubai and Cairo, adding four additional flights a week to its existing thrice-daily service, starting 28 October, taking the total number of weekly Emirates flights serving Cairo to 25. Globally, the airline employs more than 2,000 Egyptian nationals in a variety of roles across the Emirates
