Croatia Airlines has reported a net loss of Kn244 million ($38 million) in the first nine months of 2020, compared to Kn48 million in the same period of 2019. Revenue fell by 57% to Kn578 million during the reporting period, with costs down 41% to Kn821 million. The airline reported a pre-tax loss of Kn69 million compared to a Kn121 million profit in the 2019 period. Croatia Airlines carried 533,000 passengers in January-September, down from 1.7 million a year earlier, while the volume of transported cargo and post fell to 1,079 tonnes from 1,504 tonnes.
