China Southern Airlines has posted a net profit of 1.99 billion yuan ($A346.41 million), a 24.2% decline on the 2.62 billion yuan reported for 2012. Revenue also fell by 1% to 98.55 billion yuan. “In 2013, the overall global economy was still on the basic trend of slow recovery, the risk of a deterioration of the economy was not completely removed,” China Southern said in a statement.
