Cathay Pacific is set to resume Hong Kong to Christchurch route towards the end of 2023 after a four-year COVID-induced hiatus. The airline plans to capitalize on the peak holiday demand and high fares.  The airline will operate the route on its 280-seat A350-900 with 38 business class seats, 28 in premium economy, and 214 in economy seats. The airline will launch the route on December 15 operate thrice weekly till the end of February, like pre-pandemic period.
