Cathay Pacific reported to be in market for mid-sized widebody aircraft

Cathay Pacific Airways said it was considering orders of mid-sixed widebody aircraft, according to a report by Reuters. The airline reportedly requested information from Airbus and Boeing for new aircraft to replace its older mid-sized widebody jets. Cathay’s cargo division Cathay Cargo had previously purchased six A350F aircraft on December 8, 2023 to replace its older 747F aircraft.
