New carrier Canada Jetlines said it flew 95 charter flights in December 2022 and January 2023. The airline flew 18 charter flights and around 70 hours in November 2022, meaning total hours flown increased to 350 hours in the two months since then. “We see a continuous improvement in our aircraft utilisation as we grow our network and increase our charter business,” said Eddy Doyle, chief executive of Canada Jetlines. The carrier said it “sees significant opportunities in the Canadian travel and tourism sector, with strong demand domestically and in international markets like the USA, Mexico, Jamaica, and many others”.
