Boeing now expects to deliver 40 of the planned 57 737 aircraft before the end of June. Ryanair stated that its summer schedule had been based around receiving at least 50 737 aircraft. “We will now work with Boeing to take delayed aircraft deliveries during Aug and Sept 2024 to help Boeing reduce their delivery backlog,” said Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary.
