According to filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), investor business Blackrock has increased the number of its shares in JetBlue Airways to 28.86 million, or 8.9% of the company. Blackrock had previously owned 25.81 million shares, or 8.1%, of JetBlue, which since announced a proposed $3.8bn merger with Spirit Airlines, though the deal could face an anti-trust challenge.
