BA takes delivery of its first 787-9

British Airways has taken delivery of its first Boeing 787-9 (G-ZBKA). The aircraft will go in to an intensive ‘entry into service’ program, which will include ground trials and familiarization trips, before it begins flying to Delhi on Oct. 25. Afetr Delhi, the aircraft will be deployed on flights to Abu Dhabi and Muscat, and later to Kuala Lumpur, Austin and San Jose.
