Azul reports 7% passenger traffic increase

Azul’s consolidated passenger traffic increased 6.7% year-on-year in April 2023, with a capacity  increase of 8% and a load factor of 78.8%. “In April we experienced steady demand with a 78% domestic load factor and an 83% load factor in our international markets, even with a 95% increase in capacity. While April marks the start of the seasonally weakest quarter of the year we continue to see a solid demand environment combined with overall industry discipline resulting in consistent RASK performance for the year,” says John Rodgerson, Azul’s chief executive.
