South Korean airline Asiana Airlines will resume flights between Melbourne and Seoul from July 2 to September 2, 2024, doubling operations to four times a week. The airline had operated the route from December 2023 up until February 2024 with twice weekly services. “Seoul was Melbourne’s largest unserved market, so it was no surprise to us when in January we saw an average load factor of 96% on all Asiana flights arriving into Melbourne Airport,” said Melbourne Airport chief of aviation Jim Parashos.
