Asiana Airlines pilots will begin an indefinite strike across South Korea from July 24 following failed wage negotiations with Asiana Airlines officials. The union claims that the work stoppage will primarily affect passenger and cargo routes to the Americas and Europe. The union has added that if further negotiations with Asiana Airlines officials succeed the workers might withdraw the strike. As of July 17, the pilots began a work-to-rule protest, leading to cancellations of at least one international flight, eight domestic flights, 35 international delays, and 19 domestic delays.
