Alaska Airlines has received its first 737-8 aircraft delivery to its fleet. The airline is aiming to add 15-25 new Boeing aircraft each year between 2024 and 2027. It currently has firm orders for 80 737 MAX aircraft with options and purchase rights for another 105. Its first 737-10 is set to be received in 2025. “The addition of the 737-8 and eventually the 737-10 to our fleet creates new opportunities for us to fly longer nonstop routes and maximise our revenue potential,” said Alaska Airline senior vice president Nat Pieper.
