Airbus deliveries and orders down in April

In April 2023, Airbus delivered 54 aircraft and took orders for five, down on the 61 deliveries and 20 orders reported for the previous month. Forty-eight of the delivered jets were narrowbodies, as were four of the orders. The six widebodies delivered went to China Eastern, Ethiopian Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Condor, who took one each, with Air China taking two. Four of the five orders were for narrowbody aircraft, according to the French manufacturer’s data, which showed Air France, JetBlue and Tiber Airlines among the carriers that took delivery of single-aisle jets in April.
