Air France is seeking new investors for its Irish subsidiary airline CityJet, according to Christine Ourmieres, CEO of CityJet. Ourmieres stated that: “CityJet is studying different options with new investors. We hope to have a conclusion by the beginning of next year, but that depends on the market. It could be a long process.” Air France may be unwilling to dispose of its shareholding in CityJet, which is pressing ahead with its restructuring process. The Irish jet sold five Avro aircraft and has reduced its employees by 12%. CityJet now operates 22 Avros and 13 Fokker 50s on wet lease.
