Latvian airline airBaltic has successfully completed its first scheduled C check on an Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Andris Vaivads, senior vice president , technical operations of airBaltic, commented: “After carrying more than 400 000 passengers, our first Airbus A220-300, registered as YL-CSA, has now successfully undergone a scheduled C check and received a number of other modifications which are necessary to further improve the reliability of the aircraft. During the winter season, we plan to perform C check on six more Airbus A220-300 aircraft.” C check is a part of the aircraft maintenance program that has to be performed on all commercial aircraft after a certain time of usage.
