airBaltic has announced a major network expansion of up to 18 routers including Belgrade, Split, Dubrovnik, and Tivat during the 2023 summer season. airBaltic will start two weekly flights from Riga to Belgrade on May 16, 2022, marking its return to the Serbian capital after twelve years. In the recent past, the airline discontinued its operations to many destinations due to fleet shortages and financial problems. airBaltic’s CEO, Martin Gauss, said: “This is the largest number of new routes in a single season we have ever seen at airBaltic.
