AirAsia Philippines is all set to launch of new international routes and boost its flight schedules eyeing strong passenger recovery. The airline is planning to add destinations like Busan, Fukuoka, Narita, Shenzhen, and Shanghai to its international network. The airline is also looking forward to build Cebu has an alternate hub for passengers from Japan and South Korea apart from local tourists who regularly use the Mactan-Cebu International Airport to various AirAsia Destinations in Visayas and Mindanao. AirAsia Philippines is also mounting fly-thru flights to the Maldives via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for travels from June 6 to December 14 2023.
