It has been reported that AirAsia Bhd is preparing to sell a minority stake in its loyalty programme joint venture, AirAsia BIG, which is owned by AirAsia and Tune Group. Unconfirmed estimates have placed the value of the business at around about US$330 million with AirAsia seeking the sale of a 30% stake to private equity firms, although none of this has been confirmed by the airline.
