Air India’s chief operating officer Gustav Baldauf has resigned but has told company officials that his leaving will not affect the airline’s recovery, even though he was brought in to carry out the turnaround plans. Baldauf was given a show-cause notice last week over comments to the local media that alleged the government was excessively interfering in his job.
