Air France KLM aiming to expand Africa footprint

Air France-KLM (AFI KLM) is planning to expand its footprint in Africa eyeing growing passenger demand from the region. Currently Africa is the fifth biggest network in the airline group of 12 regional operations followed by North America, China, Korea and Japan. AFI KLM has already ramped its Nairobi-Europe capacity by 14% in 2023. The airline currently operates two daily flights from Nairobi to Amsterdam and Paris, up from a daily flight to Amsterdam and five weekly flights to Paris before the pandemic.
