Air Corsica has confirmed a firm order for two ATR 72-600 aircraft, initially placed at this year’s June 2023 Paris Air Show, scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2024. The arrival of these latest two will take the total number of ATR 72-600s in service with the airline to seven, marking what Air Corsica describes as ‘the full transition of its fleet of ATR-500 series aircraft to the latest generation of turboprop aircraft’. It also was the first operator to take delivery of a PW127XT-powered ATR 72-600 at the end of 2022, generating CO2 emission savings of 45%
