Egypt-based carrier Air Cairo has taken delivery of its first CFM LEAP 1A powered Airbus A320neo, registered  SU-BUK. It has 186 seats in an all-economy-class cabin. The aircraft is on lease from ICBC Leasing and will deploy on the regional and international network from Egypt to the Middle East and Europe. A further two A320neo jets will be added soon. Air Cairo is partly owned by national carrier Egyptair, as well as Egyptian banks. The airline was established in 2003 and mainly operates from its base at Cairo International Airport.
